Planners Comments

Sheffield Forest poses problems for planners in that the path network is restiricted for the junior courses, and areas of heavy undergrowth have to be avoided on the technical courses. Hopefully, we managed to overcome these problems to some extent and hope you had an enjoyable run on a lovely sunny day.

Welcome back to traditional electronic punching, where all the controls are on stakes!. No grappling with boxes drooping from the vegetation. We also thought you might like to practise the time-honoured tradition of copying down from master maps. The dry winter meant that the infamous muddy rides were hardly noticeable, and you should have ben able to avoid the worst of the undergrowth if you read the map closely!!
